Where the idea came from
The idea for Dreams Decoded began one evening in a conversation with someone from a chapter of my life that still carries meaning. We were talking about dreams, symbols, and the meanings people try to find in them. Like many good ideas, it did not arrive as a business plan. It arrived as a moment of curiosity.
We had been experimenting with Midjourney, using remembered dreams as prompts and seeing what kind of images would come back. It was fascinating how a fragment from sleep could become something visible: a room, a sea, a figure, a doorway, a landscape that felt both invented and familiar. The images were not answers, but they opened questions.
Why dreams
Dreams are personal, strange, emotional, and often symbolic. They can carry fear, longing, memory, desire, grief, humour, and confusion all at once. A dream might be nonsense, but it might also hold the emotional shape of something happening in waking life. That tension is what makes dreams interesting.
Dreams Decoded was built from that feeling. It is not here to tell people what their dreams definitely mean. It is here to help people slow down, notice symbols, reflect on emotional patterns, and ask better questions about what a dream may be showing them.
What Dreams Decoded is
Dreams Decoded is an AI tool for symbolic self-reflection. You paste in a dream and receive a structured interpretation with key symbols, emotional themes, a psychological reading, and reflective questions. You can then ask follow-up questions about the same dream.
The tone is intentionally calm. The app draws lightly from symbolic interpretation, psychological reflection, and ideas like archetypes and emotional pattern recognition, but it does not claim certainty. It is meant to feel more like a co-pilot for reflection than an oracle with final answers. It is not fortune-telling, therapy, diagnosis, or clinical advice.
Why it is free
The goal is to help people use dreams as a doorway into self-discovery. A simple tool can sometimes be enough to help someone pause, write, reflect, and understand a little more about what is happening beneath the surface. For now, that core experience is free.
Dreams Decoded now also offers a paid Plus membership for people who want a longer private journal, deeper continuity, and richer tools over time. The heart of the product is still meant to remain accessible: a reflective personal guide for exploring dreams, symbols, and meaning.
